Reservations required, $25 per person
From the “Bishop House” to “Hotel Central”, to “Snyder’s Old Worthington Inn”, the building at 649 High Street has been a fixture of the Worthington landscape since the early days of the village. Join the Worthington Historical Society as we learn about the Worthington Inn’s long and storied history, followed by a seated lunch. The morning will include a talk highlighting the evolution of the building’s architecture and the people who lived, worked and visited the Inn over its history. We will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the building, and even get some glimpses behind the scenes! Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the program, and will include a Key Lime Chicken Salad (vegetarian option available upon request), bread, and choice of soda or ice tea. Reservations can be made by mailing a check or visiting the Shop at the Old Rectory (50 W. New England Ave, Worthington 43085), by Friday, March 9th.
